Venunye Foundation exists to connect compassionate hearts with vulnerable children, widows, and communities—so that hope is not just a feeling, but a daily reality in Ghana and beyond.

Our Story

From One Family’s Burden to a Growing Movement

Venunye Foundation was born out of a simple but powerful conviction: that no child should be invisible, no widow should feel forgotten, and no community should struggle alone. The name “Venunye” speaks of a good heart—a heart that sees, cares, and acts.

What began as support for children in Ghana through Ryvanz-Mia Childcare and Ryvanz-Mia Charity USA has grown into a wider foundation, inviting friends, families, churches, and partners to join in this work of restoring dignity and hope.

  • Deep roots in Ghanaian communities and family history.
  • Built on years of practical care for orphans, vulnerable children, and widows.
  • Moving from “helping alone” to “walking together” with global partners.

Our Roots

Linked with Ryvanz-Mia, Rooted in Ghana

Venunye Foundation does not stand alone—it builds on the faithful work of Ryvanz-Mia Childcare in Ghana and Ryvanz-Mia Charity Corp. in the USA. Together, we share a heartbeat: caring for children, widows, and communities with integrity and love.

Early Years – A Home of Care

Ryvanz-Mia Childcare began by opening its doors to orphans and vulnerable children, offering safety, love, and a family.

Ryvanz-Mia Charity USA

To sustain and expand the work, Ryvanz-Mia Charity Corp. was established in the United States, connecting global supporters to local impact.

Venunye Foundation Launch

Venunye Foundation emerged as a fresh expression of the same heart—focused on storytelling, partnerships, and expanding support for children, widows, and community projects.

How We Work with Partners

  • Listening first to local leaders and families.
  • Designing programs together, not from a distance.
  • Sharing resources, training, and tools—not control.
  • Reporting back to donors with honesty and clarity.

What Drives Us

More Than Projects, We Care About People

We are not driven by numbers alone, but by names, faces, and stories. Venunye Foundation seeks to walk with people—not just work for them.

  • Seeing each child as a whole person, not a statistic.
  • Honouring widows and caregivers as pillars of their families.
  • Valuing local wisdom in every decision and program.
  • Inviting supporters into an ongoing relationship, not a one-time gift.

What Sets Venunye Apart

  • Family Story: Born from lived experience of care, loss, and resilience.
  • Two-Continent Bridge: Connecting Ghanaian communities with friends across the world.
  • Holistic Approach: Education, feeding, empowerment, and sustainable projects working together.
  • Simple, Honest Communication: We speak plainly about needs, wins, and challenges.
