Our Story

From One Family’s Burden to a Growing Movement

Venunye Foundation was born out of a simple but powerful conviction: that no child should be invisible, no widow should feel forgotten, and no community should struggle alone. The name “Venunye” speaks of a good heart—a heart that sees, cares, and acts.

What began as support for children in Ghana through Ryvanz-Mia Childcare and Ryvanz-Mia Charity USA has grown into a wider foundation, inviting friends, families, churches, and partners to join in this work of restoring dignity and hope.

Ryvanz-Mia Childcare began by opening its doors to orphans and vulnerable children, offering safety, love, and a family.

Ven brings together years of service with Ryvanz-Mia Childcare and Ryvanz-Mia Charity, a deep love for children, and a passion for connecting supporters with real stories from the field.

Mama Esi

Founding Mother & Advisor

Often called “Mother” by many children, Mama Esi’s legacy of care and courage continues to inspire everything Venunye stands for—especially our heart for widows and children.

Charles

Project & Community Coordinator

Working closely with schools, caregivers, and local leaders, Charles helps ensure that support reaches the right places and that children’s needs are followed up with care.

Venunye is also supported by volunteers, board advisors, and partner organizations who share their wisdom, skills, and time.
