Venunye Djentuh – a heart for children, a vision for community
Venunye is the founder and vision lead of Venunye Foundation, walking closely with children, caregivers, and schools in Ghana to restore hope through education, nutrition, and community support.
Born and raised in Ghana, Venunye has seen firsthand how a single act of kindness can change the course of a child’s life. His journey from a young community leader to the founder of Venunye Foundation is rooted in personal loss, deep faith, and a desire to ensure no child feels forgotten.
Through Venunye Foundation and its global partners, Venunye connects generous supporters with real needs on the ground—so that children can stay in school, eat well, and grow up in communities that believe in them.
From one child’s need to a growing movement
Venunye’s story is woven through classrooms, shared meals, and late-night conversations with caregivers who simply want a better future for their children.
As a young man, Venunye watched children in his community struggle to stay in school because of school fees, lack of uniforms, or the simple reality that there was not enough food at home. These were not distant statistics; they were names and faces he knew personally.
Instead of turning away, he began to respond with what he had—his time, his skills, his relationships, and his willingness to listen. Over time, this grew into a network of local and global friends who wanted to help in a focused, accountable way.
Today, that heart-level response has become Venunye Foundation, a community-rooted initiative working in partnership with schools, caregivers, and global supporters to restore hope one child, one meal, one classroom at a time.
Connected to a wider family of care
Venunye’s leadership is intertwined with Ryvanz-Mia Childcare in Ghana and its global partner Ryvanz-Mia Charity Corp.
